Just got done with the skiing about a month ago and usually can start back up again in October. I didn't get much of it in this winter, I was mostly ouside biking and running, oh and snowshoeing. What about you, lots of snowboarding?

Holy hell yes the mosquitos are bad in Alaska. I went for a hike the other night and got bitten so bad that I took some Benedryl when I got home, it knocked me out and I was even drowsy the next day. I need to remember my bug spray next time. Congrats on getting into tris and good luck on your training. - Cathy

The following items make my training so much better!

The bike ended up at 1:44:50, swim was two days 1:16 for 1.7 miles and the remainder in 1:02 on saturday. I even remembered my suit! Total time on the run 1:50, which I suppose is a bit slow because the first 7 miles were an interval day. That puts my time at what,
01:44:50+
02:18:00+
01:50:00=
--------------
05:52:50

I plan to do it all again next year!

2 easy miles out of the way. I did 7 yesterday, so I may decide to just do a 1 mile run after the bike tomorrow. That'd leave 2330 yards or so for swimming. Hmm... decisions decisions.

1:15 minutes of swimming in and 2950 yards out of the way. I did the whole thing in a pair of nike basketball shorts because I forgot my suit!

2 mile run today to make the 8 miles on sat. work out right.

It all begins this afternoon with a bunch of swimming. I think I could probably do the Gold, but I'm a month out from my first sprint-tri and in a good 16 week program. I'll knock out half the swim today, 2 miles of the run and get all the bike done tomorrow am. Sunday will be an 8 mile run as per the schedule so I should be cruising into a silver sometime Sunday afternoon.
