Thanks
It's been over 5 months since I've either swam or run (although the last time I did was Singapore 70.3)... focussed on cycling for now. I'll become a triathlete again this summer. (=
Congrats and Happy B-Day!
Thanks for the great pictures. I feel like I was out there with you Brrr is right!
It looks like you had a cold run, but a warm bike.
Did you make it to the pool?
Inquiring minds want to know?
Pool only opened at 11:45... I had a class at 1, so I had to push myself a little to wrap up everything.
132x25 yard laps of front crawl in 5 sets of 26 (with 2 laps warm up). 3300 yards ~= 2 miles. Finished in 54 minutes, which gives me an average of 24.5s a lap.
No pics for this one unfortunately... the pool was crowded, and I figured I'd look like a creep if I were to snap pictures of myself / the pool.
So... total time: ~2h 51min
2 mile swim: 54"
23 mile "bike": 1'30"
3 mile run: 27"17"'
I will have pictures of dinner tonight though... Birthday treat from my girlfriend. Union Oyster at downtown Boston. mmmm... (=
One and a half hours of riding, so says the timer on my cyclo-computer. Kept myself entertained by watching episodes of Futurama. Should make up 23 miles, don't you think?
I've got sustenance in the form of a box of cereal and a bottle of water next to me. Hopefully that will last... the cereal doesn't look too appetizing right now, but it probably will an hour or so into the ride.
