3.30.10 - I ran into the usual kind of time crunch that curses the age grouper! What was once going to be a gold run nearly became bronze by the time life came along. At least I got the time out on the road. The bike ended up at 1:44:50 in heavy winds over a fairly flat route. The swim was split over two days 1:16 for 1.7 miles and the remainder in 1:02. I even remembered my suit! (see photos). Total time on the run was 1:50, which I suppose is a bit slow because the first 7 miles were an interval day and the final 3 miles were easy jogs on off days. That puts my time for 30 year Silver at:
01:44:50+
02:18:00+
01:50:00=
--------------
05:52:50

If you're considering this, you'll not regret it!

Finished my Challenge - The Swim took 2 days to complete - at 44 years old - 4 hours and 55 minutes total to complete. The Bike took 1 day - 2 hours and 15 minutes, and the run was the easiest of them all and I completed it after the bike 4 miles in 35 minutes. My total time for the event was -----> 7:45:00. What an awesome way to celebrate a birthday, can't wait till next year.

I've got a Half Marathon the day after my Birthday so I'm down grading to silver for the sake of my family (honest) ... will swim on the Friday (4 miles) bike on the Saturday (42 miles) and then run 2 miles as part of the half marathon. Hope this counts :)

Well I put myself down for the Bronze challenge, but it looks like I'm going to make the Silver. I just need to run my six miles after I teach my spin class at 5:30. I was wondering, too, where you post your distance and times?

OK, I have done the challenge but am unsure where I post the results. But, here I am!
