I finished the challenge on April 18th just in time for my B-day on April 20th (51 years). That 5 mile swim was long but doable if you put your mind to it. Remember, don't think old, think about how you will feel finishing this challenge. It was a great feeling and I don not plan on slowing down but trying to get faster! Stay strong!

I'm shooting to do the Gold during a 24 hour period May 1-2. Birthday: May 1, 1981. Age: 27. I'm hoping things work out. The biking won't be hard, but the running and swimming maybe. I'm recovering from arch problems due to running and am struggling with foot cramps while swimming.
BTW, this is perhaps one of the coolest things I have ever heard of. Imagine if more people celebrating their birthdays by being and acting healthy than going crazy on empty carbs in cake and beer. Although, come to think of it, I may just use the Gold to justify those empty carbs.
