Finished my gold challenge today. I was hoping to go for platinum, but we're painting our basement and I've been asked to cover some extra classes at the gym I teach at for the holidays. In other words, my arms are demanding that I rest, so the platinum challenge will have to wait for next year. I did run an extra 4 miles just because this morning was just so beautiful. What a great way to celebrate a birthday (my 34th). Swam 3200 meters, ran 8, biked 34.

For anyone interested or curious, I have updated my profile to include the pictures as well as some video I made during my day.
Oh as to times:
Bike 28miles 1:33:21 (combined as the bike only goes up to 60min plus 5min cool down)
Swim 2000 yards 0:45:39 (sadly I couldn't go for the platinum as I ran out of time, I also feel horrible as I hadn't swam in like 3 months)
Run 8miles 1:04:17 (I am using my nike plus time but also posted the machines time (pic) again since it can only go up to 60 and cool down for 5 I couldn't get the other pic). Nike Plus Run

My aim for next year will be the platinum and I will train accordingly for it

I have finished my Gold challange, I was hoping to get the Platinum but ran out of time at the pool. I will post video and pictures later so people can take a look. Hope I get proper admittance into the group.

Mission Accomplished
Highlights--started at 7:30 this morning--vomited while biking by 8:00--home by 12:00. By 12:30 at pool. Made it to a kid's bday party at 3:00 showered. Started running at 6:00. It is 8:00 and I just got off the trainer to make up for those "lost 4 miles."
I reek of a strange combination of chlorine, sweat and icing. (adding beer very very soon.)

Congratulations and good luck to all!

Going for the gold on Friday. Starting with 3mi swim follow with the 36 mi bike and close the day with easy 10k run. Should be fun. Already took half a day vacation to do this.
