Swim, Bike, and Run your Age!
If Not Now, When?

I attempted the Gold Challenge last Thursday - July 3rd and actually pulled it off, despite intense heat and other factors. I turned 32 this years, so the goal was 3 miles swimming, 32 miles biking and then a 2 mile run.

I have a complete report out on my blog -> http://blog.kodafit.com complete with pictures of me and some cute supporters!

If you exclude my transition times, I got done in:

3 hours, 48 minutes and 14 seconds

Individuals Splits were:

Swim 1 hour, 45 minutes and 41 seconds
Bike 1 hour, 42 minutes and 49 seconds
Run 19 minutes and 44 seconds (Yuck!!)

Thanks for everyone who wished me luck, while at times it didn't feel like it, overall I had a blast and am planning on doing it next year, just much faster next time!

Thanks Craig! Both the oldest kids were talking about getting better at running and cycling, so I think we're planning on taking the bikes out tonight when I get home from work. I may not need training partners if I wait a few more years!

Thanks Eric!

While it wasn't quite the accomplishment that your recent IronMan finish was, I'm hopefully headed in the right direction! Congrats again on that - You're an Iron Man that I hold in very high esteem!
