Just completed my b-fit challenge last week and finally got around to posting it. I was hoping for the gold, but with my schedule on my birthday, I am happy I had time to get the silver. First off, I have a little trouble with the pool times as I am in Chicago and can not yet swim in the lake. So, with the limited pool time, I had to break up my swimming into a couple of sessions and add up the times. The biking wasn't too bad except for the suprisingly cool wind. The run was as well broken up into two separate runs as I haven't run 10 miles straight yet and as much as I wanted to get it out of the way, it just wasn't happening at this point.
So, for the swim (3mi): 1:46
For the Bike (30mi): 2:08
For the Run (10mi): 2:15
I am overall quite happy that my distances got covered over the 3 days (and I did need all three! I am hoping that my relatively new foray into Triathlons will make my second B-fit challenge much better next year!
Congrats!. I was lucky, in that I did,'t have to break up my swim. But lots of different lifeguards got to decide that I am crazy as I kept swimming through their shifts.
And hey, the good news is that next year, you get to trade 9 miles of running for only one extra mile on the bike. Piece of cake!
